Like every year, the Sri Kshetra Parikrama festival has been organized this year as well, from November 26th to 29th (Bengali: Agrahayana 9th–12th).

What the scriptures say about Śrī Kṣetra and its parikrama.
Whatever pastimes Lord Kṛṣṇa performs in Gokula, Mathurā, and Dvārakā, all these pastimes He also manifests in Nīlācala-dhāma.
I am telling you as real truths for three times that I never leave this place even if my temple is destroyed.
This kṣetra which is five krośa in size and situated on the bank of ocean is best among all kṣetras. In these five krośas, two krośas which are situated on the land portion are very sacred. This place surrounded by golden sands and beautified by a blue mountain. At this place Nārāyaṇa Himself is residing as Viśveśvara.
The month of Mārga-śīrṣa, Kṛṣṇa-pakṣa on pañcamī-tithi one should circumambulate this Śaṅkha-kṣetra while doing harināma-saṅkīrtana.

Śrī Kṣetra Parikrama is a sacred 21-kilometre devotional journey through the holy land of Puri, where devotees walk together in prayer, kīrtana and remembrance of Lord Jagannātha and Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, seeking Their causeless mercy and blessings.
Why should we participate?
It is believed that one day of Śrī Kṣetra Parikrama is equivalent to 30 days of Vṛndāvana Parikrama and 7 days of Navadvīpa Parikrama.

How many days is the Śrī Kṣetra Parikrama?
Sri Kṣetra Parikrama is a 3-day programme:
- Day 1 & Day 2 — visit and hear about the sacred pastime places of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and visit Śrī Jagannātha Temple.
- Day 3 — complete the 21 km Śrī Kṣetra Parikrama walk, visiting the important holy places around Puri.
